Process & Conditions
How does a purchase with GambTec work?
Inquiry by phone or form → free assessment based on photos or on-site → written offer → pickup and payment. For larger inventory liquidations we often complete the entire process within a few days.
Are assessment and inspection free?
Yes. Both photo-based assessment and an initial on-site inspection are always free of charge and non-binding.
How quickly can you respond?
You usually receive an initial assessment within 24 hours. For urgent removals — e.g. insolvencies or end-of-lease situations — we offer short-notice on-site appointments.
How is payment made?
Payment is made by bank transfer — typically on the day of pickup or upon completion of the clearance.
Do I get a receipt or transfer documentation?
Yes. You receive a proper invoice and, on request, a transfer record for your accounting.
Scrap & Metals
Which metals and materials do you buy?
We buy iron and steel scrap, stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum (cast / wrought / profile), zinc, tin, bronze, cable scrap and other non-ferrous metals. We also buy non-resaleable machinery, electric motors, transformers and switchgear.
How are scrap prices determined?
Prices depend on material, purity (sorted vs. mixed), quantity and the current daily price on the metal exchanges. We quote you the price before pickup — no surprises at the end.
Do you also buy smaller quantities?
It depends on the material. Precious and valuable non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, bronze, stainless steel) we also accept in small quantities. For lower-grade metals such as mixed iron scrap the minimum quantity is 250 kg.
Do you collect the scrap? What does it cost?
Yes, we pick up. Whether collection is free of charge depends on material, quantity and distance — we clarify this transparently before the job, so you know exactly what is left over for you.
Machinery & Industrial Liquidation
Which machines do you buy?
Machine tools (turning, milling, grinding, sawing, pressing), medical and laboratory equipment, measurement and test technology, IT and server hardware, workshop equipment, forklifts and warehouse technology, packaging and production lines as well as complete workshop liquidations.
Do you handle dismantling and full clearance?
Yes, completely. We handle professional dismantling, loading and clearance up to broom-clean handover — including temporary safekeeping of storage areas if required.
What happens with defective machines?
We still buy defective machines. Even if resale is not possible, you receive the material value — through spare-parts utilization, sorted metal scrap and component recycling.
Do you sell internationally?
Yes, worldwide. Through our eBay stores and an international buyer network we sell machinery to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia — including container export from Berlin.
Special cases (B2B)
How does insolvency liquidation work at GambTec?
We work directly with insolvency administrators, attorneys and courts. Fast assessment, transparent listing, short-term takeover and on request interim invoicing for the insolvency estate.
Do you also handle securings for landlords, authorities or banks?
Yes. In cases of rental arrears, eviction, or seized assets we provide securing, valuation, interim storage and disposal — all from one source and with clear documentation.
Are you only active in Berlin?
Our headquarters and warehouse are in Berlin. Assessment, purchase and clearance we provide nationwide, individual large projects also Europe-wide.
Do you have a retail store I can visit?
We do not operate an open retail store. Visits to our address Meldenweg 18, 12357 Berlin are possible at any time by prior phone arrangement.
